$$1.$$$$RS=RT$$$$5(x-3)+6=4(2x-6)$$$$15=3x$$$$\Rightarrow x=5$$$$$$$$2.$$$$\frac{\sin \alpha }{60}=\frac{\sin 50}{250}=\frac{\sin (\alpha +50)}{x}$$$$\Rightarrow \sin \alpha =\frac{60\sin 50}{250}$$$$x=\frac{\sin (\alpha +50)}{\sin 50}\times 250$$$$=(\frac{\sin \alpha }{\tan 50}+\cos \alpha )\times 250$$$$=284.31$$
