16^(3/4)  +2

$$\mathrm{16}^{\mathrm{3}/\mathrm{4}} \:+\mathrm{2} \\ $$

Answered by Joel578 last updated on 15/Apr/20

16 = 2^4   ⇒ (2^4 )^(3/4)  + 2 = 2^3  + 2 = 10

$$\mathrm{16}\:=\:\mathrm{2}^{\mathrm{4}} \\ $$$$\Rightarrow\:\left(\mathrm{2}^{\mathrm{4}} \right)^{\mathrm{3}/\mathrm{4}} \:+\:\mathrm{2}\:=\:\mathrm{2}^{\mathrm{3}} \:+\:\mathrm{2}\:=\:\mathrm{10} \\ $$
