let x+5=u  x=u−5    du=dx  ∫_(−1) ^4 (u−5)(√u)  du  ∫_(−1) ^4 u(√u)du −5∫_(−1) ^4 (√u) du  (2/5)u^2  (√u)∣_(−1) ^4  − ((10)/3)u(√u) ∣_(−1) ^4   now put u=x+5     =((316)/(15))

(√(x+5))=t ⇒x+5=t^2  ⇒  ∫_(−1) ^4 x(√(x+5))dx =∫_2 ^3 (t^2 −5)t(2t)dt  =2 ∫_2 ^3 t^2 (t^2 −5)dt =2 ∫_2 ^3 (t^4 −5t^2 )dt  =2[(t^5 /5)−(5/3)t^3 ]_2 ^3 =2{((3^5 /5)−(5/3)3^3 )−((2^5 /5)−(5/3)2^3 )}
