A) the price excluding 5% VAT = ((100)/(105)) × ♯99,990 = ♯95,229         the price including 8% VAT = ((108)/(100))×♯95,229=♯102,847

c) amount of the sales = 20×♯5 + 10×♯3 + 5×50k=♯132.50  total profit = ♯132.50−♯120.00=♯12.50  % profit =((♯12.50)/(♯120.00))×100%=10.42%

$$\left.\mathrm{c}\right)\:\mathrm{amount}\:\mathrm{of}\:\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{sales}\:=\:\mathrm{20}×\sharp\mathrm{5}\:+\:\mathrm{10}×\sharp\mathrm{3}\:+\:\mathrm{5}×\mathrm{50k}=\sharp\mathrm{132}.\mathrm{50} \\ $$$$\mathrm{total}\:\mathrm{profit}\:=\:\sharp\mathrm{132}.\mathrm{50}−\sharp\mathrm{120}.\mathrm{00}=\sharp\mathrm{12}.\mathrm{50} \\ $$$$\%\:\mathrm{profit}\:=\frac{\sharp\mathrm{12}.\mathrm{50}}{\sharp\mathrm{120}.\mathrm{00}}×\mathrm{100\%}=\mathrm{10}.\mathrm{42\%} \\ $$
