$$\theta ={45}^{\mathrm{o}}\Rightarrow \frac{1-1}{1+1}=0\left[\mathrm{lhs}\right]$$$$\theta ={45}^{\mathrm{o}}\Rightarrow 1-2{\left(\frac{\sqrt{2}}{2}\right)}^3=1-2\left(\frac{2\sqrt{2}}{8}\right)\ne 0\left[\mathrm{rhs}\right]$$$$\mathrm{the}\mathrm{question}\mathrm{wrong}$$$$$$
