Solve for x in R  x(√(x+3))−4(√(x+3))+2x−8=0

SolveforxinRxx+34x+3+2x8=0

let ; x≥−3 then   x(√(x+3))−4(√(x+3))+2x−8=0          ⇔(x−4)(√(x+3))+2(x−4)=0          ⇔(x−4)((√(x+3))+2)=0          ⇔x−4=0 or (√(x+3))+2=0         ⇒x=4 because (√(x+3))+2>0 ∀x∈R  so the solution is 4

let;x3thenxx+34x+3+2x8=0(x4)x+3+2(x4)=0(x4)(x+3+2)=0x4=0orx+3+2=0x=4becausex+3+2>0xRsothesolutionis4
