integrating factor u(x)=e^(∫−3 dx) = e^(−3x) general solution y = ((∫ u(x)q(x)dx+C)/(u(x))) y= e^(3x) {∫ 4x e^x dx +C } y = e^(3x) { 4xe^x −4e^x +C } put x = 0 2 = 1{0−4+C} ⇒C = 6 solution ∴ y = 4xe^(4x) −4e^(4x) +6e^(3x)
