	$A d o e s \frac{1}{12} w o r k e a c h d a y$ $B d o e s \frac{1}{24} w o r k e a c h d a y$ $A w o r k e d 6 d a y s a l o n e, t h e n A a n d$ $B w o r k x d a y s t o g o t h e r :$ $\frac{6 + x}{12} + \frac{x}{24} = 1$ $\Rightarrow x = 4$ $t o t a l w o r k d o n e b y A : \frac{10}{12} = \frac{5}{6}$ $t o t a l w o r k d o n e b y B : \frac{4}{24} = \frac{1}{6}$ $A s h o u l d g e t \frac{5}{6} o f t h e t o t a l p a y m e n t,$ $i . e . \frac{5}{6} \times 180 = 150 R s$ $B s h o u l d g e t \frac{1}{6} o f t h e t o t a l p a y m e n t,$ $i . e . \frac{1}{6} \times 180 = 30 R s$

	$A and B work together in a$ $day = \frac{1}{12} + \frac{1}{24} = \frac{1}{8} part of work$ $In 6 day A complete = \frac{6}{12} = \frac{1}{2}$ $A, B complete = 8 \times \frac{1}{2} = 4 days$ $A^{'} s work : B^{'} s work$ $= 10 \times \frac{1}{12} : 4 \times \frac{1}{24}$ $= \frac{5}{6} : \frac{1}{6} = 5 : 1 ∴$ $∴ A^{'} s share = \frac{5}{6} \times 180 = Rs 150$
