Answered by john santu last updated on 01/Jun/20

suppose Team B spent t minutes   on the job. Then (t/(75)) + ((90−t)/(150)) = 1  Thus t = 60 minutes and so   Team A complete ((30)/(150)) = (1/5) of  the job. So m+n = 6

$$\mathrm{suppose}\:\mathrm{Team}\:\mathrm{B}\:\mathrm{spent}\:\boldsymbol{\mathrm{t}}\:\mathrm{minutes}\: \\ $$$$\mathrm{on}\:\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{job}.\:\mathrm{Then}\:\frac{\boldsymbol{\mathrm{t}}}{\mathrm{75}}\:+\:\frac{\mathrm{90}−\boldsymbol{\mathrm{t}}}{\mathrm{150}}\:=\:\mathrm{1} \\ $$$$\mathrm{Thus}\:\boldsymbol{\mathrm{t}}\:=\:\mathrm{60}\:\mathrm{minutes}\:\mathrm{and}\:\mathrm{so}\: \\ $$$$\mathrm{Team}\:\mathrm{A}\:\mathrm{complete}\:\frac{\mathrm{30}}{\mathrm{150}}\:=\:\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{5}}\:\mathrm{of} \\ $$$$\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{job}.\:\mathrm{So}\:\mathrm{m}+\mathrm{n}\:=\:\mathrm{6}\: \\ $$
