If A and B are independent events and P(C)=0, then

IfAandBareindependenteventsandP(C)=0,then

Answered by Rio Michael last updated on 19/Jun/20

for independent events, P(A ∩ B) = P(A)×P(B) but P (C ′) = 0 ⇒ P(C) = 1. ⇒ C is a disjoined event

forindependentevents,P(AB)=P(A)×P(B)butP(C)=0P(C)=1.Cisadisjoinedevent
