$$W=△U+△K$$$$Forminimumwork△K=0$$$$W=△U=\frac{1}{3}\left(Mg\right)\left(\frac{l}{6}\right)=\frac{\mathit{M}\mathit{g}\mathit{l}}{18}.$$
