$$\mathrm{G}\left(\sqrt{\mathrm{x}+5}\right)=\mathrm{x}$$$$\mathrm{G}\left({\mathrm{x}}^2\right)={\mathrm{x}}^{\mathrm{a}}-\mathrm{b}$$$$\mathrm{find}\mathrm{a}+\mathrm{b}$$

$$set\sqrt{x+5}=p\Rightarrow x=p^2-5$$$$G\left(p\right)=p^2-5$$$$G\left(x^2\right)=x^4-5\Rightarrow \{\begin{array}{l}a=4\\ b=5\end{array}$$$$\therefore a+b=9$$
