$$\mathrm{Given}\mathrm{f}(\mathrm{x},\mathrm{y})=\mathrm{y}\mathrm{f}(\mathrm{y},\mathrm{x})+\mathrm{x}$$$$\mathrm{find}\mathrm{the}\mathrm{value}\mathrm{of}\mathrm{f}(1,2).$$

$$\left(\mathrm{i}\right)\mathrm{f}(1,2)=2\mathrm{f}(2,1)+1$$$$\left(\mathrm{ii}\right)\mathrm{f}(2,1)=1.\mathrm{f}(1,2)+2$$$$\Rightarrow \mathrm{f}(1,2)=2[\mathrm{f}(1,2)+2]+1$$$$\mathrm{f}(1,2)=2\mathrm{f}(1,2)+5$$$$\mathrm{f}(1,2)=-5$$
