$$\mathrm{f}\left(\mathrm{x}\right)=\mathrm{f}(\mathrm{x}+3)=\mathrm{f}(\mathrm{x}-3)\because \mathrm{f}\mathrm{is}\mathrm{a}\mathrm{periodic}\mathrm{with}3\mathrm{unit}$$$$\because \mathrm{f}\left(5\right)=\mathrm{f}\left(8\right)\mathrm{or}\mathrm{f}\left(2\right)=0$$$$\mathrm{and}\mathrm{f}(-5)=\mathrm{f}(-2)\mathrm{or}\mathrm{f}(-8)=\mathrm{x}=-5$$

$$\because \mathrm{it}\mathrm{is}\mathrm{a}\mathrm{periodic}\mathrm{funtion}\mathrm{of}3\mathrm{unit}\mathrm{it}\mathrm{will}\mathrm{repeat}\mathrm{itself}$$$$\mathrm{after}\mathrm{or}\mathrm{before}\mathrm{every}3\mathrm{unit}.$$$$\mathrm{that}\mathrm{is}\mathrm{why}\mathrm{f}(\mathrm{x}-3),\mathrm{f}\left(\mathrm{x}\right),\mathrm{f}(\mathrm{x}+3)\mathrm{will}\mathrm{have}\mathrm{the}$$$$\mathrm{same}\mathrm{value}.$$
