$$iftheprobabilityofoccurance$$$$be\frac{m}{n}then\frac{m}{n-m}isoddinfavour$$$$oftheevent$$$$\therefore \frac{m}{n-m}=\frac{1}{3}$$$$\Rightarrow 3m=n-m$$$$\Rightarrow 4m=n$$$$\therefore \frac{m}{n}=\frac{1}{4}$$
