$$\underset{x\to 0}{\lim }\frac{\sqrt{1+x}+{(1+x)}^7-2}{x}$$$$=\underset{x\to 0}{\lim }\frac{1+\frac{1}{2}x+1+7x-2}{x}$$$$=\underset{x\to 0}{\lim }\frac{\frac{1}{2}x+7x}{x}$$$$=\frac{15}{2}$$

$${\lim }_{\mathrm{x}\to 0}\frac{\frac{1}{2\sqrt{1+\mathrm{x}}}+7{(\mathrm{x}+1)}^6}{1}=\frac{1}{2}+7=\frac{15}{2}$$
