$$sayBE=diameter=2\times AB$$$$\frac{BC}{BO}=\frac{BO}{BE}$$$$\Rightarrow BC\times BE={BO}^2$$$$\Rightarrow BC\times 2\times AB={BO}^2$$$$\Rightarrow \left[ABCD\right]=BC\times AB=\frac{{BO}^2}{2}=\frac{{10}^2}{2}=50$$
