$$A+12=A+B\Rightarrow B=12$$$$\frac{A}{B}=\frac{12}{4}\Rightarrow A=3B=36$$$$A+B=12+4+C$$$$\Rightarrow C=12+36-16=32$$$$shaded=32+12=44$$

$$12+4=4+x\Rightarrow x=12$$$$12+3x=4+\left[shadedarea\right]$$$$\Rightarrow \left[shadedarea\right]=44$$
