$$\frac{1}{2}m\left(2gR\right)=\frac{1}{2}\left(3m\right){\left(\frac{\sqrt{2gR}}{3}\right)}^2+$$$$2mg\left(\frac{nR}{6}\right)$$$$\Rightarrow 1=\frac{1}{3}+\frac{n}{3}\Rightarrow \mathit{n}=2.$$
