$$p=2(2x+x)$$$$\frac{dp}{dt}=6\frac{dx}{dt}$$$$A=2x\times x=2x^2$$$$\frac{dA}{dt}=4x\times \frac{dx}{dt}$$$$18=4\times 1\times \frac{dx}{dt}[2x=2lengthgiven]$$$$\frac{dx}{dt}=\frac{9}{2}$$$$so\frac{dp}{dt}=6\times \frac{9}{2}=27m/sec$$
