$$assumethatthevolumeofconeis1.$$$$x=heightofcone$$$$1-{\left(\frac{8}{x}\right)}^3={\left(\frac{x-2}{x}\right)}^3$$$$x^3-8^3={(x-2)}^3$$$$x^3-8^3=x^3-3\times 2x^2+3\times 2^{2}x-2^3$$$$-6x^2+12x+504=0$$$$x^2-2x-84=0$$$$x=1+\sqrt{85}\approx 10.22cm$$
