$$ByPowerofaPointtheorem,$$$$\left(AB\right)\left(AC\right)=\left(AD\right)\left(AD\right)={\left(AD\right)}^2$$$$\Rightarrow AC=\frac{{\left(AD\right)}^2}{AB}=\frac{{10}^2}{5}=20cm$$
