$$x+\frac{1}{x}=\frac{7}{3}$$$$x^2-\frac{7}{3}x+1=0$$$$x=\frac{7\pm \sqrt{13}}{6}$$$$p_n=x^n+\frac{1}{x^n}={\left(\frac{7+\sqrt{13}}{6}\right)}^n+{\left(\frac{7-\sqrt{13}}{6}\right)}^n$$$$p_{13}=x^{13}+\frac{1}{x^{13}}={\left(\frac{7+\sqrt{13}}{6}\right)}^{13}+{\left(\frac{7-\sqrt{13}}{6}\right)}^{13}$$$$[x^{13}+\frac{1}{x^{13}}]=[{\left(\frac{7+\sqrt{13}}{6}\right)}^{13}+{\left(\frac{7-\sqrt{13}}{6}\right)}^{13}]$$$$=\left[\frac{2621455207}{1594323}\right]=1644$$
