$$\frac{\mathrm{AE}}{\mathrm{EC}}=\frac{\mathrm{AD}}{\mathrm{MC}}=\frac{2}{1}$$$$\mathrm{AE}=2\times \mathrm{EC}=2\times (\mathrm{AC}-\mathrm{AE})=2\times \mathrm{AC}-2\times \mathrm{AE}$$$$3\times \mathrm{AE}=2\times \mathrm{AC}$$$$\mathrm{AE}=\frac{2}{3}\times \mathrm{AC}=\frac{2}{3}\times 78=52$$
