$$\frac{3}{4}x+\frac{5}{2}x=13$$$$x=\frac{13}{\frac{3}{4}+\frac{5}{2}}=\frac{13}{\frac{3+10}{4}}=\frac{13}{\frac{13}{4}}=4$$
