$$\frac{8044?}{8}>\frac{80000}{8}=10000$$$$\Rightarrow 8044?\mathrm{should}\mathrm{be}\mathrm{divisible}\mathrm{by}9$$$$\Rightarrow 9\mid 8+0+4+4+?\Rightarrow ?=2$$$$\Rightarrow \frac{80442}{9}\times 9=8938\times 9=80442$$
