if 2x+3≥0, i.e. x≥−(3/2)  x+6>2x+3  x<3  ⇒−(3/2)≤x<3    if 2x+3<0, i.e. x<−(3/2)  x+6>−2x−3  3x>−9  x>−3  ⇒−3<x<−(3/2)    ⇒range of x:  −3<x<3

if2x+30,i.e.x32x+6>2x+3x<332x<3if2x+3<0,i.e.x<32x+6>2x33x>9x>33<x<32rangeofx:3<x<3
