$\frac{x}{5} = \frac{y}{x} = \frac{40}{y}$ $x y = 200$ $x^{2} = 5 y \Rightarrow x^{2} = 5 (\frac{200}{x}) \Rightarrow x^{3} = 1000 \Rightarrow x = 10$ $y = \frac{200}{x} = \frac{200}{10} = 20$ $x = 10, y = 20$

	$t_{n} = {a r}^{n - 1} \Rightarrow t_{4} = 5 r^{3} = 40 \Rightarrow r = 2$ $x = 5 r = 5 (2) = 10$ $y = 10 r = 10 (2) = 20$
